Barker Spring Fair FAQs


The Barker Spring Fair will be held on Saturday 13th September, 2025, from 1.00-7.00pm on the Barker College grounds, 91 Pacific Highway, Hornsby. The event will be held in the Rosewood Precinct, so the best entry is via the gates on Unwin Ave. Gates open at 1.00pm, with Fireworks scheduled to start at 6.30pm.
Please note – no dogs are allowed on the school grounds.

Entry to the Barker Spring Fair is free, but tickets are required for rides and some activities. Ride passes can be purchased in advance or on the day. Check out the Buy Tickets page for more information.

The fair will feature a variety of rides for all ages, these details can be found on our “Fair Highlights Page”. Other attractions include market stalls, food trucks, live entertainment, and a spectacular fireworks finale.

We offer a range of sponsorship opportunities for businesses and families, including in-kind donations, services, or monetary contributions. Sponsors receive various benefits such as recognition on promotional materials and priority placements. Visit the Sponsorship page or for details.

The Spring Fair will host a diverse array of stalls, including handmade crafts, artisanal goods, clothing, plants, books, toys, and gourmet food. Stallholders interested in participating can book a stall online via our “Fair Highlights” page.

Yes! The fair will feature a wide range of food trucks and stalls offering delicious options, from sweet treats to savory dishes. There will also be beverages and snacks for sale throughout the event.

Absolutely! While we encourage you to enjoy the food options at the fair, you’re welcome to bring your own picnic. However, please note that alcohol is not permitted on school grounds (other than that consumed at the Spring Fair Wine Bar). You are also welcome
to bring picnic chairs and a rug.

The Barker Spring Fair will proceed rain or shine! In case of wet weather, some activities may be relocated indoors or modified for safety. Check our social media pages for real-time updates.

All funds raised through the Barker Spring Fair support the BCPA’s purpose of helping families in need, improving school facilities, and fostering community connections. This year’s event is particularly special as we
celebrate 100 years of the BCPA’s impact.
