This event is a fantastic opportunity for contemporary music student bands to showcase their talent, perform live on a professional stage, and compete for incredible prizes!

Can Your Band Win the Ultimate Rock Battle?
Barker Spring Fair – Battle of the Bands 2025 proudly sponsored by Big Music
The Barker Battle of the Bands is hitting the stage for the very first time – and you're
invited to be part of the action! Powered by Big Music, this is your chance to compete for a
$3,500 prize pool and showcase your band's talent in front of industry professionals.
Generously donated by Big Music, the prizes include:
• 1st Place: $1,000 + a recording session
• 2nd Place: $500 + a band mentoring session
• 3rd Place: $250 + a band mentoring session
Each band will take the stage with a state-of-the-art setup, featuring professional-grade
AV from Lightsounds. This top-tier grand stage delivers crystal-clear sound, dynamic
lighting, and a flawless performance experience, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for
both performers and the audience.
Plus, you'll receive valuable feedback from our panel of industry experts who bring a wealth
of experience from diverse corners of the music industry. This team includes a renowned
vocal coach, a gifted guitarist, a multifaceted music producer and drummer, and an
accomplished music director. Each of them is passionate about nurturing young talent.
Whether you're here to win or simply to showcase your talent, this is your moment to shine
in front of a live audience!

How to Register:
📱 Get Your Band in the Game
Getting started is simple. First, make sure to Download the Event Info Pack and get the
green light from your school’s Head of Music. Then, record a short 3 minute video of your
band in action and submit it with your online application by 30 June 2025.
If your band makes the shortlist, you’ll hear from us by 1 August 2025 . Once you’re in,
confirm your spot with a $50 registration fee — then it’s time to rehearse, rock up, and battle
for the win!
